Sr. Control and RND Engineer

As The Safest Pair of Hands in Intralogistics, we're looking for passionate Controls R&D Engineers who are ready to solve complex automation challenges, build reliable PLC-based systems, and shape the future of warehouse automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standardized, modular and reusable PLC software architecture
- Design PLC hardware, communication, motion and safety system integration
- Validate products through simulation, FAT and qualification testing
- Prepare design docs and ensure CE, UL and Functional Safety compliance
- Drive RCA, design improvements and support through NPI and deployment
- Collaborate across teams to standardize and drive product innovation
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/1500), Structured Text, Ladder Logic, FBD & STL
- Servo, VFD, motion control, sensors, encoders, RFID and HMI systems
- Profinet, PROFIsafe, CANopen, EtherCAT and Serial communication
- Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, MQTT, VDA 5050 and OPC UA protocols
- Machine sequences, state machines, safety logic and I/O architecture
- Software debugging, simulation/emulation, FAT/SAT and RCA
- FDS, SDS, control philosophy, I/O lists and version control
- Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration
- ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061, IEC 61508 and Machinery Directive / CE compliance
Educational Qualification & Experience Required:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or Automation
- 3–8 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
- Prior exposure to ASRS, conveyor or material handling systems is a plus

Service Sales Manager
About the job
Service is responsible for driving service revenue growth by proactively Engaging with existing customers at site level.
The role focuses on understanding customer operations, identifying improvement opportunities, positioning Armstrong Dematic Service capabilities, and converting insights into revenue through Spares, AMC/CMC, OSS, upgrades, and modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strong relationships with customers through regular site visits and operational reviews.
- Present and position Armstrong Dematic’s service capabilities as a lifecycle value proposition.
- Identify operational gaps, reliability risks, and improvement opportunities at customer sites.
- Convert identified opportunities into executable service proposals and orders.
- Generate service revenue through spares, AMC/CMC, OSS, upgrades, and system modifications.
- Coordinate with service operations, engineering, and spares teams for solution finalization.
- Ensure smooth handover from order booking to service execution and closure.

Technical & Business Competencies:
- Strong understanding of automated systems (ASRS, Conveyors, Sorters, Robotics, WCS) and maintenance concepts (MTBF, MTTR, uptime, spares strategy)
- Ability to translate technical issues into business value propositions

- Consultative selling mindset
- Problem-solving orientation (solution selling, not price selling)
- Confident presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence customer decisions with data and logic

Educational Qualification & Experience Required:
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Operations will be preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Service Sales, After-Sales Service, Technical Sales, or Industrial Service Business Development.
- Experience in Intralogistics, Automation, Material Handling Systems, or Industrial Automation will be an added advantage.
